Technical Information:

  • AMA Membership is required and will be available to purchase at the track.
  • Registration.  All riders must properly register before entering the track.  All riders must be personally present for rider registration.  Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Racers under the age of 18 in possession of a “Competition Membership” card from the AMA are still expected to have a parent or guardian in attendance.  If a parent is not in attendance, then a dated, signed and notarized permission slip from your parent with the event name, dates and location is required.
  • Frame Numbers. Remember to bring the last 4-digits of your frame number to Registration.  This applies to ALL classes.
  • No refunds once racing begins.
  • Friday Practice is for riders participating in the Regional Program only.  This is not an open practice.  Racers cannot practice with a group in which they did not attempt to qualify at the Qualifier level, unless approved by an official.  You may request to practice with a different group if your groups are back-to-back.
  • Non-Registered Qualified Racer/Alternates.  Pre-registration is strongly advised and is the only way to guarantee a starting position.  Non-registered alternates will be accepted in all classes that do not cause the class to have to run qualifiers.  Alternates will be placed based on a power ranking.  In other words, if a class is pre-registered at 35 riders, there are 6 spots available for non-registered qualified racers or non-registered alternates.  If a class is pre-registered at 41 racers, then the number of available spots will depend upon no-shows.  If a class is pre-registered at more than 41 racers, then up to 64 racers can be initially placed in the class.    Non-registered qualified racers or non-registered alternates may participate in Friday’s practice day and Saturday morning’s practice.  Placement in racing classes cannot be determined until after registration closes on Saturday morning.
  • The top 5 in all classes will be impounded each moto.
  • Random teardowns will be conducted for the top 5.
  • Transponders are required and can be obtained at escoremx.com.
  • We will go through the race order 4 times this weekend:
    • 1st time is MOTO #1
    • 2nd time is for classes with a CONSI
    • 3rd time is MOTO #2
    • 4th time is MOTO #3

Start Procedure:  The following Start Procedure will apply:

  • First moto gate picks will be determined by computer draw.  Second and third moto gate picks will be determined by the previous moto finish, not the overall standings.
  • Each rider may have only one crew member accompany them to the Starting Gate.  No other crew members are permitted at the Starting Gate.
  • Grooming may be done behind the Starting Gate, provided no shovels, tools, or other implements (foreign or natural) are used.  There will be no grooming in front of the Starting Gate by riders or mechanics.
  • Starting blocks are allowed, but must be removed immediately by the rider’s mechanic.
  • Motorcycles must be positioned straight and in the center of the Starting Gate.  Riders may not start at an angle.
  • The rear tire may not extend past or rest upon the back start restraint.
  • In the event a rider needs to make repairs once loaded in the Starting Gate, the machine must be pushed back from the gate to behind the rear restraint before any repairs can be made, so as not to interfere with other competitors.
  • Once the track is clear for the start, the Starter will point down the line to ensure all riders are readied.
  • Then the following Start Procedure will be used:
    • 2 Card will be held for 10 seconds
    • 1 Card will be held for 10 seconds
    • 1 Card will be turned sideways
    • Gate will drop between 2 and 5 seconds
  • Mechanics must step behind the backstop at the display of the 1 Card.
  • A rider may request a 2-minute grace period for minor repairs at any time prior to or during display of the 2 Card by holding up his hand.  Once the 1 Card is displayed, no additional time will be given.   Only one grace period will be given per moto.  Grace periods will not be given to clean equipment or for cosmetic purposes.
  • Track Access.  Only authorized staff and personnel may have access to the infield and assist fallen or stranded riders.   Parents are not permitted on the infield and may not assist riders.

Pit Vehicles:
Pit vehicle use is allowed under permit only.  When you get your pit vehicle permits read those guidelines carefully and understand that you risk being penalized for violations of the rules. Strict morning and evening curfews will be enforced. The speed limit for Pit Vehicles is 5 mph.  Pit Vehicle Permits are $15.00 and are available to rider families only – no spectator riding.
